Large Systems

German designed Schade stacker reclaimer built by Barclay Mowlem for
Wallerawang Power Station. Two separate dual line lubrication systems comprising an IHI model SK521-2 electric pump feeding grease to VS30 distributors and then to BM series divider valves fitted with cycle switches lubricate three slew bearings on the main tower. Both pumps are housed in stainless steel electrical enclosures together with a change over valve, and cycle switch to allow control and monitoring to be carried out by the on board PLC.

 

Dual Line systems are ideal for lubricating large numbers of points spread over considerable distances

 
This 72 point system installed on a 30 metre steel roll cooling table illustrates a typical dual line installation. Fed by an IHI model EPA25L pump with integral changeover valve via a loop piping layout the system comprises 36 IHI model VS-32 adjustable metering valves.
