IHI Lubrication System

IHI Automated Lubrication Systems are manufacture by IHS -
Ishikawajima Hanyoki Services Co. Ltd, Japan to ISO 9001 standard

IHS has been developing, manufacturing and distributing various kinds of centralised lubricating systems since 1939. They have been widely used for steel industry, forging machines, paper making machines, cement plants, sewage disposal plants, garbage burning plants, chemical plants, ship loaders, mining equipment, water gates, etc. and have gained a reputation for excellent reliability.

Many of the IHI lubricating systems have mainly been employed by heavy industry but the IHI Auto Greastar range is a centralised lubricating system especially re-designed for general light machines & transport.

IHI equipment offers both single and dual line systems, chain conveyor and spraying systems for all types of equipment.

We can offer system design and arrange installation for any lubrication system whether it be a small manual system or complex fully automatic multi-point system with alarms.

Single Line Progressive System

Best suited to those systems having up to about 70 lubrication points spread over short distances. The systems use distributors where lubricant is progressively divided into piston displacement quantities of lubricant to each outlet in a fixed sequence as lubricant is pumped through the distributors.

Dual line systems are used to service lubrication points spread over long distances. Grease is pumped down line 1 which discharges grease to the point of application via a metering valve. Grease pressure builds up in line 1 till the changeover pressure is reached and at this point grease pressure changes to line 2, the pump stops and line 1 is released back to tank. At the next lubrication cycle, the sequence is repeated using line 2.

Many hundreds of points can be lubricated with a dual line system and different size bearings can be catered for with the adjustable volume facility available in the metering valve.
